The aim of this conference arises from the desire to bring together in one event PhD students whose research, directly and or indirectly, deals with the study of manuscripts and books belonging to the cultures of Africa, Middle East and Asia, making up an interdisciplinary context of discussion and academic growth for all young scholars.

  • Codicology and paleography.
  • Digital Humanities.
  • Linguistics and philology for manuscript studies.
  • The role of manuscript in cultural history: case studies.
  • Relationship between text and manuscript format.
